What is FCA Outdoors?

The Northwest Georgia FCA Outdoors mission is "To impact the outdoor sports community by sharing the great adventure of following Jesus Christ."  The vision is "To see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of outdoor sportsmen and women in our community."   Our goal is to carry this out through various avenues.  We have several events planned throughout the year such as the FCA Outdoors Day at Silver Shoe Ranch in the fall, a sporting Clays tournament at Barnsley Gardens in the spring, and a Northwest Georgia High School Anglers Association fishing tournament in the spring as well.

We also have opportunities to take people on Christ centered hunting and fishing trips throughout the region.  Examples would be:
  • Duck hunting trip to Arkansas at High Plains Waterfowl with Bible study included in the trip.
  • Fishing weekends at Watts Bar Lake
  • Youth Fishing Rodeo
  • Local quail hunts
  • Father-Son trips
